After successful years of performing (Keyboarder and Singer) for 2 SHY and working as a Songwriter and Producer for many famous swiss and international Artists, Michael Kull returns as a solo artist with his own Pop-Project: too shy. With his pop-project 2 SHY Michael Kull supported many international Acts: N'Sync, DJ Bobo, Worlds Apart, C-Block, Mr. President... Now, too shy brings you back the melancholic Pop-Music, that was well known and unique with 2 SHY in the late 90ties. The songs of 2 SHY appeared over 20 weeks in the swiss airplay charts, and the biggest hit "You give me all I need" (co-written and originally produced by Michael Kull) reached No 1. of the German Radio Cologne Charts. With his new songs, Michael Kull shows once again his talent to create Pop songs that reach much deeper than just to the ears of the audience. Dark pads, catchy melodies, romantic harmonies, that's too shy. the first Single Somehow is based on a passage of "Solvejgs Song" from Edvard Griegs Masterpiece "Peer Gynt" and combines modern Grooves, Balladesque Melodies with the strong emotions of the classical work. The second single "since you went away" is based upon the simple chord-sequence "6152" that's repeated during the whole song. This pattern creates both, tranquillity and suspense. The lyrics describe perfectly the situation every love sick person expieriences. The album "in too deep 6152" will be released in January 2005.
